The Shakes menu
TBWX Shakes are dessert shakes — thick, layered, heavy on soft serve and toppings. Not the thin flavored-milk version you'll get at most Indian cafés. A TBWX shake is a cup of dessert you happen to drink through a fat straw.
Oreo Thick Shake (Rs 189-229) — vanilla base blended with crushed Oreo, topped with soft-serve crown, chocolate drizzle, Oreo halves. Our #1 seller.
Kitkat Thick Shake (Rs 199-239) — chocolate base with Kitkat chunks, whipped cream crown, Kitkat wafer on the rim.
Brownie Overload Shake (Rs 229-269) — chocolate base + warm brownie cube + soft serve + fudge drizzle. People who order this don't order dessert after.
Nutella Hazelnut Shake (Rs 219-259) — milk shake blended with Nutella, hazelnut praline, cream swirl.
Ferrero Dark Shake (Rs 239-279) — dark chocolate shake, Ferrero Rocher chunks, hazelnut dust, cream crown.
Strawberry Cheesecake Shake (Rs 209-249) — strawberry + cheesecake chunks + fresh strawberry topping. Summer go-to.
### Why Shakes matter for outlet economics
Shakes do three jobs in a TBWX outlet:
1. They lift average order value. A family ordering two Waffle Sandwiches will often add one Oreo Thick Shake for Rs 189 — 10 seconds of upsell, Rs 189 on the bill.
2. They convert photo traffic. The soft-serve crown + drizzle + solid-food garnish is the single most-photographed item at TBWX. Which brings more photo traffic, which brings more walk-ins.
3. They own the 5-7pm slot. When it's too late for a full Waffle Sandwich meal and too early for dinner, a Brownie Overload Shake is the exact right thing.
The Summer Coolers menu
TBWX Summer Coolers is the category that keeps Indian outlets alive through April-September. Without a strong cooler menu, a waffle-focused café bleeds 30-40% of monthly sales during the hot months. We over-invested here deliberately.
Classic Virgin Mojito (Rs 99-129) — fresh lime, mint, sugar, soda, crushed ice. Our highest-volume cooler.
Watermelon Mint Cooler (Rs 119-149) — fresh watermelon blitzed with mint, lime, cane sugar. Peak summer staple.
Peach Iced Tea (Rs 109-139) — brewed black tea + peach + lemon. Afternoon desk-snack pairing.
Masala Lemon Soda (Rs 89-119) — fresh lime, rock salt, chaat masala, chilled soda. Punjab classic, scales to every city.
Blueberry Lemonade (Rs 119-149) — fresh lime, blueberry compote, honey, soda.
Green Apple Cooler (Rs 109-139) — green apple crush, mint, lime.
Strawberry Lemonade (Rs 119-149) — fresh strawberries, lime, sparkling water.
### Why Summer Coolers matter for outlet economics
The simple reason: Indian summer is six months long, and a café that only sells hot waffles and thick shakes is losing half its day to 'I don't want anything heavy' customers. Summer Coolers capture that demand at a Rs 89-149 price point with very high margin — fresh produce, sugar, soda, ice. Costs maybe Rs 20-30 to make. Scale it over 30-40 coolers a day, across 6 months, and it's a material line in the P&L.
Combos that work
Solo afternoon order: Oreo Thick Shake + Peri Peri Fries. Rs 300, fills a 45-minute coffee-break gap.
Couple sharing on a summer evening: two Watermelon Mint Coolers + one Mini Bubble Pancakes box. Rs 450, refreshes both without heavy food.
Group of 4 in peak June heat: four different coolers + one Bubble Waffle to share. Rs 900, keeps everyone cool and gives someone the dessert hit.
